(TITC) – “Hoi An – Happy New Year 2023” includes several activities that take place from 28th December 2022 to 8th January 2023, to farewell 2022 and welcome 2023 in Hoi An City.
Hoi An organises many activities to celebrate New Year 2023
To kick off the New Year 2023 celebration, the event “The path of art and creativity” will be held from 28th December 2022 to 8th January 2023 at An Hoi Sculpture Garden. The highlight will be the artworks creativity camp. The artworks are made from recycled, environmentally friendly materials such as ceramic, bamboo, rags…
This activity aims to promote artistic creations along with raising awareness of environmental protection, while also introducing the image of Hoi An in the direction of green tourism and creative city.
Festival “Essence of Vietnamese tea”, Hoi An 2022 will take place from 30th December 2022 to 1st January 2023 in Hoi An Ancient Town. It is expected to be the colourful event added to the celebration. Documents proving tea business in Hoi An and teas from all regions of the country will be introduced at this festival.
Additionally, many activities related to Tea enjoyment culture practice with the participation of artisans, tea houses, tea production and trading enterprises will bring an elegant atmosphere to the event.
Particularly, from 7.30pm on 31st December 2022 to 1am on 1st January 2023, an art performance programme to welcome New Year 2023 will include fascinating performances such as art performances, spring songs, masquerade parties… take place at the stage of An Hoi Sculpture Garden.
The City will also organise the Tea offering Ceremony and welcome the first international visitors to Hoi An Ancient Town at 9am on 1st January 2023 at Hoi An Communal House. The Ceremony is to present the hospitality of Hoianian to each visitor visiting this place.
