(TITC) – On 28th November 2022, the People’s Committee of Bac Lieu Province coordinated with Vietnam Tourism Association and the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) organized “Space of culinary quintessence of Bac Lieu’s shrimp and salt”.

At the event, VietKings awarded Vietnam’s record to 122 dishes made of shrimp and salt under the title of “Bac Lieu Province – the place to process and perform the biggest number of dishes from Bac Lieu shrimp and salt in Vietnam” in order to honor the value of shrimp and salt in cuisine, creating opportunities to develop the culinary industry of Bac Lieu.
Mr. Phan Thanh Duy – Vice Chairman of the Bac Lieu provincial People’s Committee sends his deep gratitude to those who are always diligently attached to the profession of creating salt. He thanks those who have always worked hard for the development of Bac Lieu Province and in the journey of “Building Bac Lieu as the center of the shrimp industry in the country”.

He asked provincial Department of Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism and Bac Lieu Tourism Association to support Bac Lieu Cusine Association on operation, attracting more members.
