This place is oriented to become a center of economics, culture, science and technology, seafood exploitation and processing industry, services, and tourism with a role in promoting regional socio-economic development in North Binh Thuan.

Recently, the Provincial Party Standing Committee (term XIV) also held a meeting to discuss the General Project to construct the Mui Ne National Tourist Area, Binh Thuan Province 2040, with a vision for 2050. Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van An noted that the planning must aim at the strategic goal of making Mui Ne National Tourist Area become a leading destination in the Asia-Pacific region. At the same time, it is required to arrange space for the development of the Mui Ne National Tourist Area to ensure airy, modern, civilized, and green – clean – beautiful, and attractive… Especially paying attention to prioritizing public spaces for local people and tourists, with attention paid to both coastal arrangements and inside the planning area.
