(TITC) – On 3rd July, Vinh Long Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Long Ho Provincial People’s Committee to organise a Ceremony to honour homestay winners of the ASEAN Tourism Awards and activities to promote An Binh island tourism.

After more than 30 years of establishment and development, up to now, in An Binh island communes, there have been more than 20 homestays serving tourists. Among them, 9 homestays won ASEAN awards in the period 2017 – 2019; 2019 – 2021 and 2023. In 2023 alone, the homestay cluster in An Binh commune won the award with 6 affiliated homestay units including: Ut Thuy, Sau Thanh, Nam Thanh, Ba Linh, Ngoc Phuong, Ngoc Sang.
The ceremony to honour homestays that won ASEAN awards and activities to promote An Binh island tourism is an important tourism event to honour homestays that won ASEAN Tourism Awards; at the same time, create conditions to meet, exchange and learn experiences between homestay businesses in the province; organise activities to promote An Binh Island tourism products to travel businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta provinces.
Thereby introducing, promoting, connecting, and creating conditions for the development of Long Ho tourism in particular and Vinh Long in general.
