With a 125-kilometre coastline, Quang Nam Province boasts nearly 20 fishing villages rich in distinct and vibrant fishing culture. In recent years, several Quang Nam fishing villages such as Tan Thanh, Cua Khe, Tam Thanh, and Tam Tien have been developing tourism products that blend the unique identity of these fishing communities with the coastal and island environment, offering experiential and resort tourism to attract many visitors and benefit the local population.

The Traditional Crafts Festival – Quang Nam 2024 will take place in Tam Ky city (Quang Nam province) from August 28th to 31st.

The Ancestral Land still preserve many craft villages, of which the conical hat-making craft in Gia Thanh commune, Phu Ninh district, Phu Tho province has a tradition spanning nearly 100 years. Through many generations, the conical hat is still preserved by the people here as a gift from the homeland to friends from near and far. Each conical hat has contributed to preserving and maintaining the traditional cultural features of this countryside.

The Tourism Department of the central coastal province of Binh Dinh made a report on the five-year implementation of the tourism development project in traditional craft villages in the province by 2025.

Located 15 kilometers North of Hue City, Bao La bamboo and rattan weaving village (Quang Phu commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province) is a renowned traditional handicraft village.

The moutainous district of Binh Lieu, Quang Ninh has currently taken the advantage of its cultural and natural potentials and strengths to develop community-based tourism, contributing to the locality’s economic, social and cultural development.

The provincial People’s Committee has just issued Decision No. 1419/QD-UBND on July 30th, 2024, regarding the recognition of Mo Hamlet Community Tourism Site.

Xi Thoai village (Xuan Lanh commune, Dong Xuan district) is one of the villages in Phu Yen that preserves the indigenous culture. With the support of the tourism sector, non-governmental organizations and especially the attention of the local government, Xi Thoai was recognized as the first mountainous cultural village in the province in 2000; a community cultural tourism village in 2014; and a traditional brocade weaving village in early 2024.

Dak Nong Geopark has just been validated as a member of UNESCO Global Geoparks Network for another four years, until 2027. Endowed with rich cultural traditions and majestic landscapes, the Park has been an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

Taking advantage of its scenic rural villages and vast rice fields, Duy Xuyen district in Quang Nam province is developing community ecotourism. The model is creating jobs and boosting local incomes.
