The ASEAN Tourism Award 2024 was recently announced at the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2024 held in Laos, recognizing 25 units and localities in Vietnam.

Quang Nam has two hotels honored by the organizing committee: New World Hoiana Beach Resort (in Duy Xuyen district) is awarded ASEAN MICE Venue Standards in the meeting room category, and Vinpearl Resort & Golf Nam Hoi An (in Thang Binh district) in the exhibition venue category.

Some other notable awards with representatives from Vietnam include: Hue City, Quy Nhon City, Vung Tau City receive the ASEAN Clean City Tourism Award; Experience traditional Northern culinary tourism in Duong Lam ancient village; Experiential Tourism of Culture – Arts – Vegetarian Cuisine at An Nhien Garden in Hue.
